Pat the Cope Gallagher, North West MEP

Pat the Cope is Chairman of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and the European Economic Area and a Member of the Fisheries Committee in the European Parliament. He was an MEP from 1994 until 2002, until his return to Europe in 2009. He has also served as a T.D. for the Donegal South West constituency and held positions as Minister of State for Marine and the Gaelteacht, the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government, and at the Department of Health and Children. Pat the Cope fully supports the ‘Racism is Wrong’ campaign which aims to tackle all forms of racism, prejudice and discrimination in our communities.
